I bet once you recover you will be even faster than before. Seriously, that is one happy smile!

I am doing this race http://arnoldmillsparade.com/roadrace on the 4th of July. Let me know if you have any interest, I will look out for you!Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00290442522517963775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-976919865429314945.post-87795000248406042262012-05-30T16:47:46.554-07:002012-05-30T16:47:46.554-07:00I did read somewhere that the marathon sets one up...I did read somewhere that the marathon sets one up nicely for the 5K, but after a full recovery. And 70s is still high! And those turns would drive me crazy. You look like you are jumping, awesome knee drive! And I look more like a sprinter than a marathoner, too:)Ana-Maria RunTriLivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06277465990759801560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-976919865429314945.post-3977580446722109962012-05-30T14:41:14.761-07:002012-05-30T14:41:14.761-07:00I had suicidal plans to do something like a 5k too...I had suicidal plans to do something like a 5k too, but that didn't quite work out. Isn't it amazing how all the hard work for a marathon can leave you very 5k unready? I know you'll be back to your earlier 5k pace in no time!
Are you training for Baystate already? I am planning on a very low mileage summer and hopefully some 5k races (yes, that's plural) too.Rainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14118022681297462844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-976919865429314945.post-89942274204498985902012-05-30T11:45:03.561-07:002012-05-30T11:45:03.561-07:00Impressive arms as well!! I would kill for 5K times like yours. :)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01212228308225991239noreply@blogger.com
